Sandy Fairley

Executive Director

Executive Director Sandy Fairley, has been proudly serving seniors in the Gulf South for over 35 years as a nurse, the past 10 years spent in senior living community leadership roles. She’s a proven leader with a strong resident focus and is eager to partner with residents and families to bring about desired improvements, as well as further elevate our community’s standards for hospitality and service. A native of Wiggins, MS, Sandy is the mother of three children and has three handsome grandsons that she is always ready to boast about. She resides locally in Mississippi, where she enjoys country living on a small farm. In her spare time outside the community, Sandy enjoys spending time with her grandsons, boating, farming, and traveling when time permits.

Tanya Taylor

Lead Care Giver

Tanya has been with The Trace as a Care Manager since April 2016. She truly cares about her residents and their happiness. In March 2020, Tanya was promoted to Memory Care/SHINE Director. Tanya says “Make no mistake, this job is not for everyone. I love helping residents who are “fading away”. It’s an important responsibility. It may be difficult for residents to reach me but I enjoy reaching out to them. I love every difficult, odd, impossible, funny, combative and sweet one of my residents.”

Tanya Carney

Memory Care Director

Tanya holds a BA in Psychology and a BA in Educational Studies from Ashford University, as well as a wide array of health and dementia-related certifications. Tanya knows the most important part of her job is to have patience, a good sense of humor, and a great calendar filled with activities for a diverse array of residents. She has worked in various senior living communities, along with private care providing exciting programs to keep the residents involved, engaged and willing to come back for more.

Ryan Siler

Director of Culinary Services

Ryan Siler, a native of Bethany, Oklahoma, comes from a family with a rich culinary background. Chef Ryan began his career in the culinary arts at Winchester Place in Memphis, TN, and has applied his culinary skills for many of the South’s premier restaurants. He spent the formative years of his career working under the leadership and tutelage of Chef Greg Frazier; nominee for the prestigious James Beard award.

With a culinary career spanning two decades, from preparing cuisine for some of country music’s top vocalists, to appearing on television programs, such as “In the Kitchen” with Meredith Stevens, Chef Ryan has had the opportunity to implement his expertise in numerous ways. An active member of his local community, he has mentored and taught local high school students seeking future careers in the culinary arts and food service industry. He has catered many events for community art councils and civic events including “Mississippi’s Tour of Homes”.
